Lily Franklin, the Democratic nominee in House District 41, is launching her campaign’s first television and digital ad. She is running in a rematch against Del. Chris Obenshain, whom she lost to by 183 votes in 2023.

The ad, which is set to go live on Friday, does not attack Obenshain or even mention him.

“Hard work should be rewarded again,” Franklin says in the ad. “I’ll fight for affordable healthcare, lower electric bills, and better schools. So we can go from just getting by to thriving.”

Franklin has outraised Obenshain by a significant amount. On the last campaign finance deadline on June 30, Franklin reported having $379,853 cash on hand, compared to Obenshain’s $155,069.

Early voting begins Sept. 19 for the Nov. 4 Election Day.
