Police in Petersburg said they are investigating after someone was shot on Saturday night.
Police officers responded to the Econo Lodge on Winfield Road for reports of a person shot just before 7:30 p.m. Once they arrived, the officers located a male with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are currently investigating and are asking for anyone with information about this shooting to contact them.
