Police are searching the area around Dockside Court in Chesterfield after reports of a shooting near a child. Dockside Court is located off of Harrowgate Road.
There are also reports of a possible dog fight, or dog bite victim in the area.
Police have not confirmed that a shooting took place, but they are searching the area with a heavy police presence as of 1:50 p.m.
