Richmond, Va – Firefighters in Norfolk responded to a two-vehicle accident today with a unique problem.

Norfolk FD says that a collision between two vehicles on Shore Drive and Pretty Lake Ave “created significant clean-up challenges on Wednesday.”

One of the vehicles flipped over the guardrail and fell 40 feet landing on its roof in marshland.

Both drivers were able to exit the vehicles on their own according to fire officials. They were transported to the hospital and did not give word on the extent of their injuries.

According to fire officials, one of the cars fell more than 40 feet into marshland.
